UNILORIN disclaimer notice on recruitment Scam

The attention of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) Management has been drawn to the ongoing recruitment scam by some unscrupulous elements extorting the public under the guise of securing appointments for them in the University.

Based on this recruitment Scam notice, the UNILORIN Management wishes to inform the general public that:

1. No recruitment, either by way of replacement or other means is currently going on in the University;
2. In the University of Ilorin, recruitment exercise follows established procedures which include advertisement, interview, and award of appointment;
3. The University has not and will not conduct or offer appointment(s) to an individual or group of individuals through third-parties;
4. The University has not and will not appoint any agent or third-party to conduct recruitment on its behalf; and
5. At the appropriate time, the University will advertise vacant positions in accordance with the extant laws and government guidelines.
